What Is Cosmetic Dentistry?
Modern Dentistry is no longer just a case of filling and taking out teeth. Nowadays many people turn to cosmetic dentistry, or ‘aesthetic dentistry’, ‘facial aesthetics’, as a way of improving their appearance. They do this in the same way they might use cosmetic surgery or even a new hairstyle. Cosmetic treatments can be used to straighten, lighten, reshape and repair teeth. Cosmetic treatments include veneers, crowns, bridges, tooth-coloured fillings, implants and tooth whitening.
It’s an assumption that Cosmetic Dentistry is surgical, which it isn’t necessarily. Some of our products at Bangor Dental Care involve products for acne treatment and skin care in addition to teeth whitening gel, teeth straightening, none of which are surgical.
We also provide botox treatments and lip fillers of which we are happy to discuss with you. Like any look you wish to achieve some idea is good and we are happy to arrange consultations with one of our friendly trained team.
